Following highly acclaimed performances last February and April, director Alize Zandwijk's interpretation of Branden (Scorched/Incendies) has been selected for the Dutch Theatre Festival in Amsterdam. Branden is the only show that has been unanimously chosen by both the official jury and the audience jury.
Furthermore, actress Fania Sorel has been nominated for the prestigious Theo d'Or (Dutch Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role).

at Kontakt Festival (Poland)

On May 30, The Ro Theater production Mothers has received two prestigious awards at the Kontakt International Theatre Festival in Poland. Director Alize Zandwijk received the award for “the performance that best reflects the changes taking place in the contemporary world”. Additionally, John Thijssen and Lidwien van Kempen were awarded “Best Set Designer of the Festival”.
